Lambda Publishers is one of the leading publishers and distrbutors of Jewish-oriented books, videos and software. Among its flagships products is the Encyclopedia Judaica CD-ROM.

The Animated Haggadah was originally conceived within the Gesher Foundation in Jerusalem. The project was taken on by Scopus Films in 1985 as one of its first productions.

Scopus specializes in production of innovative, entertaining and educational animation and children’s programming, integrated with books, CD-ROMs and websites.

The animation is by Rony Oren, original music by Andre Hajdu and it was produced by Uri Shin'ar and Jonathan Lubell.

Rony is currently the Head of the Animation Department in the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in Jerusalem.
