Max and Marcy
Marcy: I’m so happy you and your family came to our house for the second seder.
Max: So am I. I spent the whole day memorizing the Ma Nishtana and I want everyone to hear me.
Marcy: That’s good. Last night my little brother was supposed to say it, but he got mixed up, and said Ma nishma instead.
Max: I know all four questions by heart. I even have a couple of my own.
Marcy: Me too. You are supposed to ask as many questions as you can during the seder. That way we can talk about all the miracles that happened when the Jews left Egypt.
Max: You mean we spend the whole seder talking about it. My mother always warns me not to talk with my mouth full.
Marcy: She’s right. First we talk and then we eat. Look, my father’s pouring the wine for kiddush. Get your Haggadah. and we’ll go to the table.
Max: You just answered my first question.
Marcy: What was that?
Max: When do we start?
