Walking down the streets of Israel on Yom Ha’Atzma’ut you can see thousands and thousands of flags. There are flags hanging from buildings and homes, flags waving from lamp posts, and flags fluttering from the antennae of passing cars. But the best time to walk down the street is at night. Bands play music and people dance in the streets, celebrating their independence. |
